THECHALLENGE/
Taylor Nodecker, Account Supervisor at Estate Four got in touch with delRazor to discuss a video project they had for a non-profit organization. The ask was to create an intro video that leads in to guest speakers at an event. These speakers were photographers who were being praised at the event and the video needed to elevate their work and also get the crowd pumped for the upcoming speakers. The timeline was about 2 weeks.

THESOLVE/
Given some basic direction on the end-client expectations, the whole piece needed to shout out loud about the photography and fit the theme of the event. Estate Four provided some basic graphics essentials, logo, lanyard/badge graphic, copy and audio track to use, and we were off!
Getting to work on the project, I wanted to recreate the graphic used on the badge with the filmstrip wrapping around the globe. I built the scene out with some 3d assets and plugged the photographers images into the filmstrip elements. Animating multiple shots to cut between afforded more directed layouts and ensured the energy would remain high while syncing to the music. The end result is a high energy intro that gets the crowd pumped for what the speakers are about and excited to hear from them.
